Synopsis of meeting in Italy

TOPICS DISCUSSED

THE MEETING IN ESTONIA –

The Estonians asked about a possible change of dates as their National Language exams are to be held on the 8th and our visit coincides with the week of reviews. Unfortunately no other suitable dates could be found as many of the other partners had exams either before or after that week. It was finally decided that the dates would remain as is:

Arrival on May 1st. We said we would leave the island on Thursday or early Friday morning and spend Friday in Tallinn. It was decided that the following number of teacher’s and students would attend the meeting in Estonia.

We also talked about what we would be presenting. We decided that each of us would present one of our last blocks or as an alternative we could maybe do one of the previous blocks we haven’t presented yet. We said we would inform the coordinator as to what we would each be presenting. Milvi and Diana suggested things to do in Hiiumaa. They mentioned possible excursions (visit to lighthouse) and activities for students like stone painting, making souvenirs and a fashion show.

We also discussed travel details pertaining to the meeting. Although some details like ferry or plane options were mentioned it was clearly stated that we would be given links to further information very soon.

B) MOODLE

Once again the use of moodle was discussed. In particular it was stated that we have not been adding our work to the moodle. Also we discussed the final products and how they would be added and it was (of course) decided that Michal would add most of them us some of us still haven’t learnt how to do this (the author of this synopsis included) :

PROJECT OUTCOMES

We discussed what we have or haven’t completed so far. The project coordinator promised to send a list of everything we need to have by June. We also deliberated a bit as to the joint reports to be filled in at the last meeting. It was decided that we would not only fill in the joint part together but that those of us with more experience would help the others to fill in their institutions part also.

We also said that we would include all works, ie. lesson plans agenda proposals, etc produced as final products.
